Christmas is over but it's still in my heart <3 !
It's still warm and shining inside my heart. :)
I've given my christmas gift to Jesus! Yesterday was His birthday!
So what did I do during Christmas day?
I went to church to help out in count offering then after that me and my BF went for lunch in Kar Heong.
After had our lunch, I slept. Took afternoon nap accidentally. -.-
Btw, we've planned to have mini BBQ in front of my BF house, so we did it ! *finally*
Sadly, and again I didn't take any picture. The food was too good so I didn't manage to get picture. >_<
We prepared cocktail sausages, bacons, mashed potato, marinated chicken breast and pork shoulder and corn. Quite a lot for 2 persons dinner huh? hahaha.
Quite random here, but let me give you some of my cooking tips.
Mashed Potato.
1. Cooked the potato cubes with the cold water in the beginning.
2. How to know whether it's cook or not? You can just poke into the potatoes. If it's soft then it's cooked.
3. Then you sieve the potato, remove the water.
4. No sieve or mashed utensils? It's easy! You can use fork instead. It works! I used fork. Just mashed it all
5. Add milk / cream to make it softer.
6. Add salt, herbs (I put cajun and mixed herbs), pepper and parmesan cheese. :)
You want the mashed potato looks nicer and taste better?
7. Few slices of bacon, slice it smaller pieces. Stir fried it until it's quite dry. Remember no need to put oil because bacon contains of oil as well. You don't want the bacon to be oily.
8. When it's dry, add the mashed potato and mix mix mix.
9. Serve on the plate.
10. DONE ! :)
*not the real pic* =p
Marinated Meats.
1. Cut the meats into cubes. (I had 1 breast, 2 shoulder pork)
2. Add Kikoman Teriyaki Sauce (100ml) , Salt (2 tsp), Cajun (3 pinches) , Mixed Herbs (1pinch) , Black Pepper (1 pinch), Sugar (1 tsp).
3. Add slice garlics. (around 7 pieces)
4. All the ingredients in step 2 must use feeling. Well, slightly put more than usual because the taste will become lesser when you cook it.
5. Put inside chiller and consume it within 24 hours.
Why 24 hours? It's to avoid the contamination and bacteria.
Quite random :p but just share with you all. :)
